In 1995 Maurizio Ficcadenti established Inovo Design. Ever since then, Inovo Design has been working with large and medium-size companies in the Industrial Design field, participating especially in the most early stages of the complex process that leads from the idea to the finished product. Using the latest IT tools, ground-breaking methods and solid technological Know-how.
This innovative formula means tangible competitive advantages in terms of design cost and timescales.

Inovo Design offers a series of modular services, custom-made for the client´s needs. From seeking concepts for the creation of new products, to the development of three-dimensional mathematical models complete with a feasibility analysis for the individual components. Not to mention the indispensable ergonomic and aerodynamic testing, and 3-D viewing with interactive processing of the virtual model, followed by the production of physical prototypes.
Since the style of an object can be continuously modified, this working method ensures progression to the production stage within a very short time.
Research and Development
Inovo Design has always been involved in research and development projects where the goal has been that of finding new uses for materials, design and for production techniques. The project development is assigned to an international group of expert designers who, thanks to their different cultural backgrounds, make it possible for Inovo Design to handle the designing stage for any product from a broad range of viewpoints.
This team, directed by tutors of considerable experience, alternately intervenes in the various projects, thus constantly acquiring greater knowledge and operative abilities and at the same time enhancing personal skills. - TRAINING

The designing process is heavily influenced by the method and the means used in approaching it , and last but not least by how the Designer interacts with them.
According to how many and what tools are applied in the process, and also how these are then used, the quality and timing for the project can vary. And as we well know, quality and time set not only the final result, but also the costs...
The entire design process proposed by Inovo Design makes use of sophisticated digital technology, right from the initial conceptual phase... These are developed into mathematical models which are then performance-tested and assessed for realism in the digital mock-up room and for realistic viewing in a virtual environment using an ultra-high definition 4x3m back light screen with a Fresnel lens.
The designers have at their own disposal more than 50 workstations, 30 Display Cintiq Wacom, more than 40 official Alias licenses, 37 Photoshop licenses, Painter, Bunkspeed, Maya, RTT Deltagen, Opticore/Showcase... -

The training method obtained by the Designers of Inovo permit us to offer to our Client a broad-based service that differentiates itself from the typical concept of Co-design, but that shares with this last the same spirit of cooperation; this collaboration though is often understood as simply “projecting with”, and -many times- limits itself to offering to the client a “closed package”...
Inovodesign interacts with the “Client System” by providing it with the following, according to the need:
- Expert Designers that cooperate in loco on the project, together with the client...
- Efficient and autonomous Work Groups capable of interacting with the the Client’s Project managers.
- A training program developed by Inovo and specifically made for the Client’s Designers...
